6  Other/Miscellaneous / Ennio Morricone / Re: Favorite Ennio Morricone Score on: October 31, 2012, 11:00:16 AM
my top 3 Ennio Morricone soundtracks is:

1. Esctasy of Gold
The best music for maybe one of the best movie scenes ever!

2. For a Few Dollars more Theme
so classic  Wink

3. The Trio
wakes so many memories  Smiley
7  General Information / General Discussion / Re: Which one of the dollars trilogy is the best? on: October 24, 2012, 11:19:21 AM
the movies have little to do with each other, the character isn't always exactly the same (a drifter in FOD, a bounty hunter in GBU and FAFDM, different nicknames in each movie, although you can argue that in every case, he had no name, which is actually a more frequent debate than the debate over whether it's a trilogy).

In each movie, there is the gunslinger played by Eastwood who wears the same clothing -- we even see how he acquires it at the end of GBU, which takes place before the other movies. So there is a very slight sort of continuation. A "trilogy" doesn't necessarily have to mean the same story continued; I don't think it's incorrect to call any 3 movies that are intended to be some part of a series, a "trilogy." There's no doubt that in some small way, they are connected; if not, why would the Eastwood character have worn the same iconic clothing in FOD and FAFDM, which GBU makes a point of informing us how it got there?

So call it a "trilogy" or a "trio" or whatever, I think this is a semantic discussion that it ain't much worth worrying over  Wink

Can`t disagree with that  Wink

10  General Information / General Discussion / Which one of the dollars trilogy is the best? on: October 14, 2012, 02:04:34 PM
Hi! I`m new here so I don`t know if there is an old topic with the same question. Anyway, Which one of the Dollars trilogy do you guys think is the best. I personally like GBU the most. but when I`m comparing FOD with FAFDM I really can`t say which one of them I prefer
