Ennio Morricone is doing one concert in England this year.It will be at the Hammersmith Apollo,London on Wednesday 17th July from 7.30pm.I have bought a ticket through Ticketmaster 57.50 (including postage and booking fee). This may be a last opportunity to see the great man performing the music from Sergio Leone's movies in England.

Just in case any of you guys were not aware and would like to attend the concert.

17  Films of Sergio Leone / The Colossus of Rhodes / Re: Colossus of Rhodes on: April 14, 2006, 07:56:51 AM
Wright. COLOSSUS OF RHODES and Spartacus are the 2 best peplum cause Sergio and Stanley made them. I haven't seen Colossus of rhodes for a while so I need to watch it again and i will post stuff about it. it is a good idea Firecracker to remind everybody that, despite it is not a western, Colossus of Rhodes is a very good Sergio Lone's movie anyway!

Come on my friends be brave. It is nothing but a...strip tease we could arrange for the girls to be more active on this web. And i think we need to be 7. For the moment we are 2. Who's next?
19  Other/Miscellaneous / Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Hommage to the female members on: April 13, 2006, 07:34:30 PM
Excellent, we need 5 more. Who's ok?
20  Other/Miscellaneous / Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Your Magnificent Seven on: April 13, 2006, 07:33:32 PM
I would keep Steve Macqueen, Yul Brynner, Charles Bronson and James Coburn of course. I would ad Eastwood, Van Cleef and Newman.

Against them: Fonda, Wallach, Volonte and Kinski with desperados.

The independents (around, separate, trying to get members of the seven or from the bad for their personal interest, again to avoid the boring the good against the bad scenario): Jason Robards, Terence Hill and...Robert Conrad!

The ladies: Claudia Cardinale, Bette Davis, Johan Crawford and ... Marlene Dietrich!

Director: Sergio of course!

Music: have a guess!

24  Films of Sergio Leone / Once Upon A Time In The West / Re: Harmonica's motive for the night scene on: April 13, 2006, 06:43:43 PM
Thats a good question I thought that it maybe one of Franks men and Harmonica plays as a warning, it would be hard to light a cigar and play a harmonica at the same time no?

I like refreshing the great posting! and the moderators should try to make a collection of them.

It's a shame Roberti, I would love to go but I live in New York. I would've love to come and meet you to talk about Sergio and his cinema but that's a bit far for me.

One day may be we'll meet up. The moderators could organise something in new York. I 've never been there and I really like too, to meet you and the other members, for cinema, jazz and for the nice things that make a great America, forgetting about the bad things drinking a nice cup of...French wine!

I am definitely for that and we keep in touch anyway till the concert. Why not taking a pic of all the members united at this concert in July or at the Leone screening in May?:
