1  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Sad Hill aftermath on: July 17, 2016, 01:53:22 PM
I can only imagine the cleanup job they had when the principal photography wrapped in July of 1966. Do you think the soldiers were paid to remove all the wooden headstones and mounds of dirt with the cobblestones in the circle of destiny?
I only wish I could have been on all the sets with still and video cameras during the entire shoot. I wonder if anyone has behind-the -scenes photographs of all this? Happy 50th of Sad Hill.
2  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Union officer in trenches?? on: May 24, 2016, 02:51:10 PM
Is that Aldo Guiffre in the group shot at the railway station just before Tuco and Wallace enter the train with the photographer saying hold still. He is in the upper right corner? Or is he? Smiley
3  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: GBU book project -updated website- on: May 17, 2016, 08:41:59 PM
My copy came today from Germany Amazon. The box was very damaged. It looked like someone opened it and clear taped it back together. Fortunately, Mr. Hanley took great care in wrapping in paper and shrink wrapping the book itself. Its the only thing that saved it. Terrible delivery. My copy is fine but the box. Savages working for whoever was responsible. Angry
4  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Rats in frame on: April 12, 2016, 11:47:47 PM
When the hotel owner is yelling out the door and his wife is watering the plants in the  left corner you can see several rats running out of frame. Look for it. Hurray for Dixie-hurray.
5  Films of Sergio Leone / The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Clints horse at the end of the masterpiece on: April 10, 2016, 11:15:13 PM
How did blonde get the rope to hang Tuco??? Also, where did the rifle come from? I know it was Angel Eyes horse but throughout the picture he never carried a rifle.
I can not wait for Peters book. The pictures of Socorro are great. Happy 50th of the GBU filming.
