You're not a wuss, my friend. I saw THE MAN himself live at THE ROYAL ALBERT HALL in LONDON November 10th 2003. He conducted the ROME SYMPHONY ORCHESTRA. It was Mr. Morricone's 75th birthday concert and when he played ECSTASY OF GOLD I, amongst many members of the audience shed a tear. Not a wuss, my friend, just human!

Thank you my friend.
I wonder if he will be doing any more concerts in the UK...anyone know?

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / The Maestro
« on: December 08, 2004, 09:57:25 AM »
Today I was literally reduced to tears for the very first time on hearing a piece of music.......I listened to the Arena Concert DVD of "The Maestro" Ennio Morricone playing Ecstacy of Gold with full Orchestra. To see it "live" was a beathtaking experience especially after just watching GBU on the TV and DVD. It must be the most moving piece of music one could ever wish to here.
I could ony compare it probably to actually going to see the Sad Hill cemetary in Spain.

Any Comments.... or am I just being a Wuss

Where can I here woody Guthries Pastures of Plenty which was the apparent  inspiration for Titoli

Just heard two versions by Alison Krauss (who?) and  Odetta(who?)....absolutly nothing like Titloli
Who came up with the notion it inspired Titoli?

Where are the bullet holes in Manco's hat after Mortimer shoots it up in the air a few times? Also why does it whistle when it comes back down to earth?

I think you nailed it Joe.  Thanks for clearing that one up.

"Bravo"

If Manco/Monco means one handed...how come he pastes Cavanagh with only his left hand. Also in FOD his damaged hand is his left one isn't it? When does he damage his Right Hand?

How come in some versions and promotions of GBU angel eyes is sometimes the Ugly and Tuco is the Bad and Vice Versa?
