Sean is the name of the friend, just look at the european dvd of fod

thats not true, Sean is simply Irish for John, Frayling even says it in the commentary, i dont get why they put that little documentary on the dvd to confuse us because its mostly bullshit

Off-Topic Discussion / Re: Overrated Directors - Past & Present
« on: September 21, 2005, 12:46:19 PM »
wow, thats a pretty impressive list

quite frankly, i consider you mentally insane for calling Stanley Kubrick, Alfred Hitchcock & Quentin Tarantino overrated, but maybe that's just me

i agree on Woody Allen

others: James Cameron (Aliens & T2 were great but the rest is utter shite), Kevin Costner (simply overrated, the guy stole the best director award from goddamn martin scorsese! can you beleive that shit?) and ofcourse: Michael Bay (if you're a filmgeek .. you hate Michael Bay, it's one of the base rules, hes just an annoying little kid who makes annoying little kid films, i want him to die)

The Good, The Bad and The Ugly / Re: Italian and american credits
« on: August 16, 2005, 01:44:41 PM »
Originally, in U.S. at the end of the credits it was "also starring Eli Wallach in the role of Tuco" or something very similar. Apparently to list that way was higher status.

my VHS still has that

LOVE it

im a very big surrealism fan and im very much into avant-garde, especially when mixed with western like Jodorowsky did, its great, its no 'spaghetti western' if you ask me, it lacks too much elements to be conciderd that, but hey i like it, its a matter of taste
