Director: Gordon Douglas (who has a pretty good 50/50 Western pedigree) with Wally Brown, Alan Carney, Frances Langford, Barbara Jo Allen, Robert Mitchum, Paul Hurst and many more recognizable Western staples.

Came in from chores (cleaning the hull on the drift boat) and caught most of this film. Two unsuccessful vaudeville entertainers decide to search for gold during the Californian gold rush in 1849. They come to a town where no woman lives. The dwellers of this town promise them a lot of gold, when they bring some women to them to marry. But they don't tell the vaudeville women who think they are going to do a show in  New York on the dough.

Who TF are Wally Brown & Alan Carney? (maybe supposed to be the next Abbot & Costello)

Dumb but entertaining to a certain extent, Mitchum in drag if you can believe it. 6/10 and that is generous.
