I watched Shane today and saw a lot of similarites to Dollar Films...........Mainly when Shane Twirls his gun at the end after killing Wilson........very similar when Manco does similar thing in FAFDW
after killing guys in saloon at beginning of film .Also when he rides in alone at beginning from nowhere similar in FOD as in Shane.

I've always thought the main Shane reference in Leone's films was the funeral of Tory which clearly influenced the McBain funeral in OUTW.

Gun twirling has been done countless times in westerns, including LVC after shooting Indio, but it would be interesting to know who did it first.
