Has anyone purchased the Limited Edition Boxed Set? I've Been looking into getting one, but i can't seem to find enough info on one. And no one has listed it on ebay. It seems that you can get the american poster free in a mail-in offer. Has anyone done this?

Shocked  Your not gonna believe this and u might think i'm crazy, but i never opened it.  I have it locked away in a safe / vault (along with a couple other movies).  I wanna be buried with it when i die... It means the world to me... Anyway enough about me - yeah it has stills from the motion picture, apparently some type of little book, and of course the mail in offer coupon thing to recieve the poster.  it costs around $60 on amazon... If i were u i would buy it in a heartbeat..i'm gonna buy another one as soon as i get some money!

actually that doesn't sound crazy at all. one of the reasons that i haven't gotten it yet is that i wouldn't want to open it. so i would need to buy two like you... if you are serious about being buried with it, that is pretty impressive! but if i had to chose one movie(english) to be buried with it would without a doubt be ouatia! i guess i will look into getting a couple of these. ha! thank you though!

I have purchased this nice boxet at Videos of Miami, I don't remember the exact name of the site, but it is specialized in rare videos. It's a nice package wich includes two VHS.

yeah i got this set online many years ago, because it was advertised as the 227 minute set. in fact it turned out to be a 226 minute set, so i returned it. it was good quality and all, but it was edited. the cover was good though...

this is all very interesting(especially the vault locking story). I never knew about a boxed set for this film. Has it gone out of print? I would like to see a picture of it.

I own three boxsets from the series and all the posters have been re-prints, in fact you have to pay to have them send it to you as it won't fit in the box.

no, from the company that makes the boxset. I own CDA boxsets for 2001, Citizen Kane and Casablanca. Only Casablanca had the poster in the set and the others have leaflets for reprints. The fact that my original poster cost upwards of $60 and the box is less then that it would not be financially prudent of them.  Grin
