Suddenly (1954)

A sleepy town in middle of nowhere suddenly gets woken up when the president plans to travel through, and a paid assassin is gunning for him. Frank Sinatra is really good as the assassin. I give this movie a 7.5/10.

James Gleason as Peter "Pop" Benson
    Nancy Gates as Ellen Benson

Good movie, quite tense and Sinatra is indeed really good... I found Hayden to be as stiff as a board tho. Overall, 8/10 for me.

Of course - the bad guy is usually more fun to watch than the good guy  ;)

Interesting thoughts about guns in this. Pidge's pacifist mother doesn't want her son to get into guns. Not even his toy pistol. Hayden insists that the boy needs to learn that guns aren't always bad.
