"Eva Green!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Which is why I never watched the sequel.

Last night, however, I came across my BD copy of the original and gave it a spin. I enjoyed it quite a bit. I'm guessing that's because in the last 7 years I've seen so many things that are so much worse (including Snyder's mind-numbingly bad Sucker Punch) that now this thing seems like a venerable classic. Yeah, the plot is a bit thin. The look of this alternate world is interesting, though, and the action pretty much delivers. I'll be watching this again.

That's what you get, Drink, for not appreciating the genius of When You Read This Letter.

Sucker Punch is a very good movie. I love is despite being in parts in the fantasy action scenes too long, a bit schmaltzy in places and a bit over the top. But it is full of ideas and very visually directed.
