No, you want Death Rides A Horse. It's Leone by other means.

You know, I want most of them, those I mentioned were just those I've been thinking about most recently.

The Hills Run Red

Wow, it's been a long time since my last spag.  Unfortunately, this one wasn't a very good way to launch back into the genre.  Apart from the fantastic Morricone score, The movie is extremely mediocre.  Even though it's not nearly as bad as say, Django Kill, it's definitely not good.  What really brings it down is the acting.  The performances are poor all around aside from whoever played that guy Getz, I got a kick out of him, but he didn't get nearly enough screen time.  The direction wasn't exactly noteworthy, and even the music was brought down by a lame non-Morricone vocal theme they played a couple times.  I'm glad i just got this from netflix. Sad

I felt the same way the first time however a second viewing really helped this one out. Give it another try in a few months. Trust me. I'll bet money you'll raise your rating at least one star!

Update:

Films with * I got from someone (the others I bought myself). I like keeping track of that as well.

Fistful of Dollars*
For A Few Dollars More
The Good, the Bad and the Ugly*
Once Upon A Time In The West*
Duck, You Sucker*
The Specialist*
Django
My Name Is Nobody*
They Call Me Trinity
God Forgives... I Don't added today, I haven't seen it yet.

That makes it ten. Nice number. I'd like to bring it up to twelve, though, that's an even nicer number. Wink

Sure. I only have to keep it on such number that I can fit into our small house. Cheesy

I agree completely.

Some of the worst acting ever in screen history can be seen here! Gotta love the Morricone score. The lyrical song is quite catchy while the main theme, which I'm sure has been used in a few commercials, is very memorable.
