English voices

Apart from Nando Gozollo as Gian Maria Volonte, does anyone have any idea who some of the English voices for the actors are in the Dollars Trilogy?

There is a thread somewhere here that Paul Frees did the English voices of Volente, the Colonel in GBU, and Morton.

"He dubbed many Italian actors in Spaghetti Westerns, most notably Gian Maria Volonte's characters in A Fistful of Dollars and For a Few Dollars More, the alcoholic Union captain (portrayed by Italian actor Aldo Giuffrè) in The Good, the Bad and the Ugly, and Gabriele Ferzetti's Mr. Morton character in Once Upon a Time in the West."

Frees did tons of voice work, even Boris Badenov from Rocky and Bullwinkle.

Actually that was a mistake we found the right guy and corrected it in the Sergio Leone Encyclopedia thread about 7-8 months ago:


Grant, Bernard. Voice actor who dubbed Volonte in English-language versions of FOD and FAFDM, the Union Captain in GBU, and Morton in OUATITW.
