trust a man who wears both a belt and suspenders?

I don't remember seeing this before; I don't think it was posted here. I just discovered it on YouTube: Frayling spoke in Spain last year, on the 50th anniversary of GBU, hosted by the Sad Hill Cultural Association.

it's over an hour long, but every line Frayling says in English is then translated into Spanish.

Enjoy!

A couple of corrections:

A) Frayling repeats here at 29:25 about Leone owning a particular de Chriico painting, which as I discuss here, http://www.fistful-of-leone.com/forums/index.php?topic=8921.msg164085#msg164085 , Leone never owned. He also gets the title wrong. This particular painting is "Ariadne" - I've seen it in the Met many times. It is NOT, as Frayling mistakenly says, "The Enigma of a Day," which is the title of a different de Chirico painting, in MoMA https://www.moma.org/collection/works/80587

B) Rawhide was a CBS show, not NBC

toward the end of this video (around the 59-minute mark), Frayling does mention what we discussed here http://www.fistful-of-leone.com/forums/index.php?topic=12345.msg183096#msg183096

that the scenes toward the end of the film, of the Union camp, the bridge, the big battle, are meant to take place in the East, as opposed to the West of the earlier part of the film. (Frayling uses the term "North," but I believe he really means to say "East.")
