Nice - did you feel the same inspiration as Leone did?

What was it Leone said? GBU is “de Chirico rides the range” :D

David Rockefeller was the last living grandson of John D. Rockefeller, until he died last year at the age of 101. He and his wife Peggy, who died in 1996, were major art collectors https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Rockefeller

Their art collection is going on at auction now

Friday was the third and final day of the Rockefeller art sale. The sale totaled $832 million, and 22 records were set.
I'm surprised n_l didn't bid on the 256-piece Sevres dessert service commissioned by Napoleon.

at that NY Times link, in the second photo, with people looking at the various paintings, the prominent painting on the right, the rocky landscape, is a Hopper painting called "Cape Ann Granite." It sold for over $8 million https://www.christies.com/lotfinder/Paintings/edward-hopper-cape-ann-granite-6134503-details.aspx?lid=1&from=relatedlot&intobjectid=6134503

There was another Hopper painting sold at the auction, called "Rich's House" here is an article about it https://www.christies.com/features/Live-like-a-Rockefeller-Edward-Hopper-Richs-House-8856-1.aspx

It sold for over #3 million https://www.christies.com/lotfinder/Paintings/edward-hopper-richs-house-6134497-details.aspx?lid=1&from=relatedlot&intobjectid=6134497
