A Cooperation with "Tonicale"


A genuine première and, over and above that, starring the biggest motion picture composer of the present day: Ennio Morricone will be on the podium conducting his own works for the first time in Germany: the program contains a representative sample of his rich creative output.

Wow! I'm so sorry my vacation time is used up. I wish this kind of program would come to NY. Unfortunately a concert of this kind is so expensive to mount and without the government funding that these concerts enjoy in Europe, it's impossible to have in America.

I've been listening to Morricone's non-film music and some of it is very modern, almost difficult to warm up to but worth exploring. He is an excellent organist (he played at Leone's funeral, I believe) and I wish he would record more of his non-film music.

Anyone who's been fortunate enough to see Morricone in concert, does he generally play his film music or non-film music.

If and when he comes to UK i'll be there... Roll Eyes
