Yesterday, I watched more than 5.5 hours of the movie (my first viewing ). What can you say? Insane insane stuff  Cry

I just saw the next few hours of the movie – until the end of Jan Karski's interview – I have another hour and five minutes, which I'll watch later today. What can you say? When I watched the first few hours a year ago, I couldn't stoop thinking about it for a long time afterward ... I'm sure I'll feel the same way after today ....

yes, I read there are 4 other deature-length documentaries that Lanzmann made from the outtakes of Shoah.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shoah_%28film%29#Outtakes

the other three (besides the newest one, which you linked to) are available on the Criterion DVD/BRD.

RE: Lanzmann initially only releasing the fist half of Karski's interview, and later the second half, here is a nice article that discusses it http://www.theguardian.com/film/2011/jun/09/claude-lanzmann-shoah-holocaust-documentary
BTW, USC's Shoah Foundation has a bunch of Holocaust Survivor/Witness Testimonies available on YouTube, here is Jan Karski's https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39iTbL2idhQ

Only 67 prisoners survived the death camp in which 875,000 people were killed

Since we last discussed Shoah, Masters of Cinema has released a BRD boxset of the movie. Comparison by Beaver here http://www.dvdbeaver.com/film4/blu-ray_reviews_59/shoah_blu-ray.htm

I'll summarize as best I can, based on Beaver's page, the differences between the Criterion and the Masters of Cinema:

--- Criterion is Region A. MoC is Region B

--- Lanzmann later made 4 documentaries from the outtakes of Shoah. They are: A Visitor from the Living; Sobibór, October 14, 1943, 4PMThe Karski Report; and The Last of the Unjust . Only the first 3 are included in the Criterion. All 4 are included in the MoC.

--- The Criterion has a bunch of other bonus videos. To quote Beaver: We also get a new 1-hour conversation between Lanzmann and critic Serge Toubiana director of the Cinematheque Francaise. They sat down together in January 2013 to discuss his epic work. There is a second interview with Lanzmann - this one from 2003 about A Visitor from the Living and Sobibór with writer Helene Frappat. It runs 14-minutes. There is a new, 2013, 1/2 hour interview with Caroline Champetier, assistant camera person on Shoah (and who supervised the color timing on this restoration), and filmmaker Arnaud Desplechin who has written about the films of Claude Lanzmann.

The MoC does not have any of those bonus videos.

--- As for physical bonus materials, to quote Beaver, Criterion has "a liner notes booklet featuring an essay by critic Kent Jones and writings by Lanzmann," and MoC has "a 300-page liner notes book containing writing on all of the films." I'm not sure the difference between the two.

I'm not sure the difference between the two.
I'd guess about 250 pages.
