No, I'm afraid not; I'm in Europe you see, never been to the US in my life... that EM concert I went to was in Belgrade, capital of my country (Serbia). He's so close this time (Bulgaria in december and Hungary in february), but I don't have the time or money to travel at the moment... oh well... I thank God on my knees that at least I got to see him that one time though.

How 'bout you? This will be your second EM concert, but will you be going to both US gigs?

Ths will be my 2nd concert since 2007.
I live in Montréal Québec so New York City is fairly close at 570 km.
Los Angeles is too far, across the continent and I don't see the point to have repeat concerts.

Regards

Scattered sheets : «H2S», «Sicilian clan», «MEtti una sera a cena», «Maddalena».
The modernity of myth in Sergio Leone’s cinema
Chi Mai
Sicilio e altri frammenti
Novecento
Mission

thanks for sharing!

Did Morricone actually compose any new music for Kill Bill 2, or did Tarantino just take some of Morricone's music from Leone movies?

you know how Ticketmaster makes you enter a security code to make sure you're not an automated ticket-purchaser?

Well now, before you can enter the security code, they force you sit through a video ad, and then only reveal the code at the end of the ad... So the bastards have found a way to force you to sit through annoying ads  >:D

I may be mixing up the films here but as I remember, Morricone was supposed to compose new music for Kill Bill 2, but then when it was decided that the movie had to be finished for Cannes he told QT he wouldn't make it in such a shot amount of time. So Tarantino used some of Ennio's old scores. Apart from "Il Tramonto" that is quite distracting, he actually did a good job with it. The music from FoD works very well and "L'arena" and "A Silhouette of Doom" perfectly blend with their respective scene.

The only time Morricone actually composed something for Tarantino was "Ancora Qui" for Django.

yeah I was asking cuz that ad you posted on YouTube lists Kill Bill 2.

I've never seen that movie, but I remember that in a discussion about Morricone's music and how much Tarantino liked it, Frayling once said, "When I watched Kill Bill, I thought Quentin Tarantinto had stolen my record collection."

(btw, it must be quite a collection, eh?  ;) )

The Barclay's center appears to be a stadium so as you would for Metallica is OK.
Had he been at Carnegie Hall,  a dresseir look might be more appropriate.
The important thing is to dress comfortably because stadium seats aren't the most comfortable for long periods. IMHO.

The Barclays Center has a big indoor main arena (probably around 20,000 seats, for basketball games and other major events, etc.), but this event is not in that arena. This event is in the Cushman Wakefield Theater, which is a smaller theater inside the Barclays Center, probably with just a few thousand seats.
