http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0042230/?ref_=fn_al_tt_1

Barricade (1950)

Dane Clark    ...    Bob Peters
Raymond Massey ...    Boss Kruger
Ruth Roman    ...    Judith Burns
Robert Douglas    ...    Aubrey Milburn
Morgan Farley    ...    The Judge
Walter Coy    ...    Benson
George Stern    ...    Tippy
Robert Griffin    ...    Kirby
Frank Marlowe    ...    Brandy
Tony Martinez    ...    Peso

Jack London's The Sea Wolf is re-made ... as a Western! Raymond Massey plays "Boss Kruger" (the name of the Wolf Larsen character played by Edward G. Robinson in the original) tyrannical, sadistic owner of a gold mine; a  shitty actor named Dane Clark plays the Jon Garfield role, and Ruth Roman plays the Ida Lupino role.
I'm not gonna waste my time or yours listing everything that is absolute shit about this movie. I'll just summarize by saying that this movie is shit, and next time it plays TCM, be sure to change the channel.

5.5/10

So ... you made a thread for this shitty movie you don't want to bother to write about. Why, exactly? (Does the answer have something to do with alcohol?).

If I drank alcohol even half time number times you write about it (which is about 10 times less I often than I drink it), I'd be an alcoholic.

No, I made this thread cuz we are trying to have a thread for every AW in the AW index; not just the great ones. Not every one will have an extended discussion. Some will have something a little interesting to talk about, some will just be a warning not to see it, then maybe someone else will argue that he thinks it's good, etc.
Point is, we have threads for many AW's and when someone sees a new one that doesn't have a thread, they should make one. It's called the AW Index, not the "Great AW" Index

My point is that you didn't make a thread for this title, you made a half-assed thread for this title.

If Johnny Guitar, worst AW ever, has a thread, Barricade should have a thread. Which is the point of the AW index: a thread for every AW.

And if you made yourself useful by watching TCM, maybe you'd have also seen these obscure movies and be able to contribute more to these boards than jokes about alcohol ;)
