Very stupid. Anything with flashbacks would qualify. And why is Rashômon on the list? That film is not about non-linear narrative, it's about the unreliability of narrative told from multiple perspectives.

Joshua Tree is way better than anything on this list and includes a few flashbacks of the opening scene (as well as a softcore porn scene under a bridge in the desert featuring cactus pulp but it has nothing to do with the topic).
