I  just saw him the other day in a crime movie. A dozen of great songs, though I think he wrote too many sermons.

He always resented to NOT be considered as one of the "great ones" among Piaf, Brel and even Barbara. He was still giving concerts, although he spent more time getting angry at his audience than actually singing.

He was the one pillar of the francophone Armenian community. Some of his songs will always stay with me.

The only film I've seen CA in is the 1974 version of 'And Then There Was None.' He sings 'Dance In The Old Fashioned Way' in that.
