Just watched for the first time, the double disc version of The Good, The Bad and the Ugly. Is it just my copy or is the added sequence with Tuco and the chicken totally out of sync? I know ELI who dubbed it, is old , but, Jesus, it adds nothing but distraction. Again, it could be the copy I have. if it isn't, then why spend so much money putting it together? It's the one scene in the SPECIAL EDITION that really gets my goat.....or chicken. The guy dubbing LEE VAN CLEEF is almost spot on with the lip sync. Shame about the rest!
Even though I watched the DVD special edition, I ran my old VHS copy and damm if it wasn't more vibrant! Not happy..... Cry

You are right I thought it could have been better also, maybe they could of added a bit of echo chamber effect to disguise things a bit.

They waited to do this just a tad too long, a shame.

I agree, the dubbing on the restored sequences was terrible, considering the amount of money that was spent on it.

Again, with the new version the gunshots sound different. The beauty of the LEONE spaghetti's was that PINNGGG sound. Now, the shots seem flat and have lost thier distinctive character. Why. Angry
