Maybe Steve McQueen. I mostly want to say him because he is up there near Easwood on my Fav actors list.  Check out a post on him at Off Topic. Anyway. He says hes a drifter and is lookin for money but turns down a bad pay job. When he hears the cause he jumps on the deal with his good conscious. That's my view of No Name, Lookin for some dough, but has a conzcious to help the helpless , not to mention a good shot. Cool

kerm sez : before calvera/eli dies, he asks cris adams/brynner
the same question  mexican bandit asks /hombre/newman. anyone know ?

answer ? both calvere AND hombre bandito ask "WHY ? why did you come back to die".... after i let you off the hook ? because, my friend, once upon a time there was  the code of the west. a bandito knows not of these things or he could never live to be one.  it all started w/ someone in trouble and no one there to help. possibly.

Ah Hombre. Great movie. I like paul Newman a lot in that movie.

"You like to pull the trigger eh?" "I can do it again for you"

"Hey I got a question." "ya?" "How do you think youre gonna get back down that hill" Chick-click "now listen I'm goin down the same way I come up" Bang!
