Whether its a complete rip or homage to Hitchcock is for the indivdual to decide but I absolutely love the film. I know it is not De Palma's best but it's my favorite out of the films I've seen.  Thanks to the new Blu ray release, I can finally own this instead of the SD DVD. The score by Pino Donaggio is great as well Youtube Playlist. Here's a scene analysis from the Toronto International Film Festival youtube account I don't know if there was another trailer that was made for the film besides this one: Trailer

I saw Body Double at the theater when it was released, thought it was pretty good.

It was easy to tell that it was a full homage to Hitchcock, but why not share from one of the best? Some hints of Vertigo, some of Rear Window, for sure.  Here in the mid-1970s the city showed some Hitchcock films on big screen, got to see those too.

Is Margherita Pace the lead actress?  Wink

There are three types of people in the world, my friend: those who can add, and those who can't.
