One of Willie Nelson's 80s Ws; have yet to see it. Put an IMDb link in your opening post, we'll add it to the index later (eventually).

It's OK nothing special, all I really remember is Wille (Barbarossa) calling Garey Busey "farm boy" (he runs around in bib overalls).

Saw it a few years ago. I didn't think it was anything special but  I found it entertaining. I only remember Gilbert Roland in his role as Don Braulio having a big grudge against Barbarosa (Willie Nelson); and also the bond that develops between the outlaw Barbarosa and the farmer boy. Maybe I will take the time to watch it again.

Nice little western from the years in which the western was pretty dead. 6/10

(Dead but happy)

Not quite the 'classic' some have claimed.
5/10

Visually stunning with great set design.
The Mexican cast is excellent. Unfortunately, Ms. Vega does not remove her top. Even worse, Alma Martinez filmed a nude scene that was excised (according to her commentary) Angry

The main problem is the fuzzy characterization of the leads, the muddled thematic elements, and the mediocre plot.
Willie Nelson & Gary Busey have both done better work.

Check it out!

It was a mixed review - recommended with reservations.
If you are a fan of westerns - and we do not get alot of them anymore- you will find your time well spent

Maybe, but 5/10 doesn't persuade me to waste 2h when there are many westerns I haven't seen.

Well, I watched it again in blu-ray and I am giving it a 7/10. Not an action-packed western, but very entertaining.
