Tonight I watched this wonderful whodunit - probably my 10th viewing or something.A group of people, all connected in some way or another to each other, are invited to a party at a penthouse suite. One by one, they start to get murdered.I wouldn't be surprised if this film was the inspiration for Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None. Also, I'm used to the isolated house/hotel/hospital types of stories. In this movie, the isolation theme worked well, even though they were in a penthouse suite of an apartment.
I thought you watched or were going to watch Elevator To The Gallows a few nights ago, did you?
By the way, I had been hoping to start a whodunit thread here, like I did back on the boards. I know that I've been asked to have separate threads for separate films, but does this really make sense for these lesser known movies? I can understand having separate threads for movies like Double Indemnity and The Asphalt Jungle, but do lesser known B-movies like The Ninth Guest and Murder by Television all need their own threads? I doubt that too many of those threads will get responses. I think it makes more sense to just have one whodunit thread and these B-movies could just be discussed there.
