After 24 years played with the same team of his hometown for which both Morricone and Leone rooted. After the match there was a celebration and at 11'30" the notes of DYS can be heard. Cry

Thanks for sharing!  Afro I never heard of this guy but I enjoyed the DYS. I guess watching this for me is a similar feeling to when y'all who are not Metallica fans watch the videos I post of Metallica entering a concert to The Ecstasy of Gold  Wink

No, it isn't, because Metallica (which for me it's just a name) by adopting Morricone's tune just shows its inability to compose anything just as good. (And it's not like Ellington adopting Strayhorn's composition as the signature tune of his concerts as the two  collaborated for a lifetime).
But then I shouldn't be talking to somebody who never heard of Totti.  Angry

I posted this link 11 years ago. It fits in the Morricone thread:

A sad yet rewarding moment for all fans of the sport. I do not follow football as much as I did, but I can only imagine how great must have felt to have him on your team all those years! Afro

A man for all seasons, grazie Francesco! Afro

Metallica for you is just a name?

You're as ignorant of good music as I am of soccer  Evil

The operative word of your thesis being "music".
