Nice, CJ. I still haven't been there. I've seen Monument Valley, I love it. In fact I love the entire South West. One of the few places where you can still drive fast.

My first short film is available for purchase on Amazon and iTunes:
https://www.amazon.com/Pauli-Jua-Elomaeki/dp/B01F6E0TG4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1503470421&sr=8-1&keywords=pauli+short+film
https://itunes.apple.com/tm/movie/pauli/id1076911854

But for SLWB friends I can PM a free link if you want (it's not really out of my pocket)  Azn

I also work as a cinematographer. Again, I can PM you links to some of the short films I've shot, but here's the latest music video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE9rLBxR9rY

I study film, and I've worked on couple of scripts on grants but none of them have been produced yet. Meanwhile I try to make a living working as DP and miscellaneous camera / lighting jobs.

Roy, I liked your work on the music videos. Especially the first one. Did you do the effects also? The second song is a bit too long if you ask me, but hey, that's not your fault Cool

I was actually referring to RRPower's videos in his first post. But I enjoyed your film noir too, expecially the use of narration and still pictures.  Afro I think I've seen it once before some years ago.

You had already showed me the short some time ago. I like the music video. What gear did you use on that one? Have you done the grading?

Nope. There was a Raid movie made in 2003, it's okay, nothing spectacular but maybe worth watching if you come by it. And the series is now available on Netflix but I suspect it's only in Finland.

Thanks. I used a Canon C300 and Zeiss Compact Primes if I remember correctly and a macro lens of some sort. I was new to the camera and had no time to test it but it turned out ok. We set the look together with the director and he then did the actual grading work, sending me versions online. I think he used Davinci Resolve.

OK I make home made film noir but the early ones were made with a Sony Cybershot,

The first one has still shots and some video (experimenting) with it.

https://vimeo.com/31503674

The second one was all video but suffers recording problems, I'll have to dub it over.

CJ, I just noticed your short films. Awesome! Is that you narrating? And is Tony Mars your invention?
