July 1st is Canada Day, roughly the equivalent of the American July 4th.

This year, it's Canada's 150th birthday. The country has been celebrating all year with things like free admission to all of Canada's national parks (this year only).

To my fellow Canadians here, Happy Canada Day. Happy Canada 150!

If you aren't Canadian, have a celebration on Saturday anyway, in honour of Canada.  :) Get together with friends and have a BBQ.  :)

Happy Canada Day!

I've only ever been to Canada once, for work, and we got invited to a big BBQ the first night we were there :) I guess Canadians like their BBQ's.
