Any other fans of this movie?

I saw it last night (probably my fifth viewing) and it's still one of my faves.  :)

Wonderful film, followed by two other winners, LOVER COME BACK and THE THRILL OF IT ALL (Jim Garner taking over the Hudson part). Mrs. Kappelhoff's other comedies in the following 10 years are OK, but the level of those three were hard to match. Rock running around nude in furs or "being pregnant"... he was a great actor, very underrated - and unhappy that (back then) very few appreciated his fantastic performance in SECONDS, a masterpiece.

I've seen a number of romantic comedies starring Doris Day, and Pillow Talk is by far my favourite. I didn't really care for the other films which she did with Rock Hudson.

She did one comedy with Jack Lemmon which was a lot of fun. I forget the title now.

She was also surprisingly good in the 1960 thriller Midnight Lace. The culprit of this movie isn't exactly tough to spot, but from what I remember, the "red herring" was quite unusual and unique.

I was quite touched by the scene in The Man Who Knew Too Much, where she sings "Que Sera Sera". Her REASON for singing it is what was so moving about this scene.

There is something which has been confusing me about this movie.

The two of them on the same party line had the same phone number, correct? So how is it that their mutual friend didn't realize this? At first, he had no clue that they were on the same party line. How was that possible, if he had their phone numbers?
