How much would you be willing to spend on a ticket to attend a Morricone/del Orso concert and listen to all the great movie soundtracks live? FYI..Edda del Orso sings most of the background tracks for most of Leone's
movies.

Edda del Orso her voice has changed. She will not perform in any concert anymore. But she still sings in a local church choir and mgives some singing lessons.

I recently saw U Turn, which has a great Morricone score with a female voice singing in the background. Does anyone know if it's Edda del Orso?

No, it's not Edda Dell Orso. U Turn is from 1997. Edda didn't collaborate any more with Ennio at that time.

Has anyone heard the fisrts jazzy collaborations between Morricone and Dell Orso?, they are amazing.

Only in some compilations (excelent compilations by the way) like "Mondo Morricone" or "More Mondo Morricone":

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B0000072CD/qid=1116270170/sr=1-2/ref=sr_1_2/002-3681301-6663220?v=glance&s=music

If you don't want to pay for the cds, I saw the 2 cds on Soulseek.

And by the way, there is a huge amount of Morricone tracks on Soulseek, more than I ever saw elsewhere.

Hey, Edda fans, check this out:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00093RNYO/qid=1118017378/sr=1-3/ref=sr_1_3/002-2578942-5348827?v=glance&s=music

Amazon U.S. says this isn't available until July but I bought a copy yesterday so I guess release dates differ region to region. Some of these cuts I already had on other compilations, but many were new to me. A great collection.

The lady singing at all Morricone's concerts now instead of Edda Dall'Orso is Susanna Rigacci. She's got a wonderful voice too and she's quite nice to look at...!
Search for her on google, you'll find a lot of sites with photos etc.
