https://www.imdb.com/title/tt3513548/?ref_=nm_flmg_dr_1"American security guard Richard Jewell heroically saves thousands of lives from an exploding bomb at the 1996 Olympics, but is unjustly vilified by journalists and the press who falsely report that he was a terrorist."
As I've mentioned previously, though
American Sniper was a terrific movie (too bad, n_l), Eastwood's other recent forays into the "true story" or "hero story" have not gone as well.
Sully and
The 15:17 to Paris were crappy.
The Mule was nothing special.
Problem with those three films is that Eastwood takes a small true story, what could be a decent 30-minute film, and stretches it out to a full feature film. So there's lots of crap in there.
Here he is going for another real-life hero story (A Man With a Real Name

) and I have no expectation that it will be any better than the others.
