Looks like face masks compulsory in our shops soon. I'm glad to be out of my 15 week isolation period without the Internet into the bargain. So now catching up with the movie forums.

I got my first vaccine shot today (Moderna). Arm hurting a little, as expected.

Got mine today one and done Johnson & Johnson, felt it a bit at first then nothing and no reaction since.

We got our 2nd Moderna shots March 16.  Arms were sorer than expected, felt a little "off"/weaker next day, not a big deal.

On another note, J&J has been put on hold in U.S. due to a small handful of reports of blood clots.

p.s. now that everyone who wants to get vaccinated can do so easily (city leaders are offering prizes and begging people to get the shots) they should get rid of the distancing and mask mandates everywhere. At this point, if you don't want to get vaccinated or wear a mask or socially distance, it should be your own damn decision. I still get irritated at having to wear masks on public transit, and often don't. Fuck that crap. Let's get 100% back to normal already. But it's hard for politicians to give up power ...

there's a slight uptick in covid now due to the Delta variant.

I got covid in the fall, got a positive antibody test, and have been vaccinated. And I absolutely refuse to wear a mask.

Who is Karen?

A private business has the right to tell anyone to do whatever they want as a condition of entering the premises. What angers me are the gov?t regulation, like on public transit etc. I never wear a mask on bus/train. And I have a trick mask for planes (get a KF94 masks and don?t open the flaps. It?s almost as good as wearing nothing.)

I was on a plane recently. Flight attendant who definitely takes it up the ass also takes his job way too seriously. Was getting irritated cuz everyone got on plane with masks not on properly, fully covering nose. Finally he gets on the microphone, ?We have onboard some of the most beautiful nostrils we?ve ever seen. We don?t want to see them. Your nose must be fully covered. Not just the tip. Your entire nose.?

Not seeing too many masks now except in airports or on planes or in doctor's offices. Most businesses have signs saying that if you're vaccinated, mask wearing is optional. Of course, no one has to prove vaccination.
