One of the first Murphy movies, he's evidently very awkward. The plot is as unimaginative as can be (innocent man (Dean Jagger, Murphy's father) taking refuge in the mountains for a murder he didn't perpetrate) but can be seen once if you like Ives songs (he sings 4 of them) and the then Madame Murphy. 6/10
