Winterhawk (1975)

An apparently pro-Indian flick which is probably among the best 10 westerns ever as to photography and scenery. The plot is quite lame, as almost always with movies where there are Indians featured prominently. Here the trick is having an "italian" (Michael Dante) playing the Indian chief: so the girl deciding at last to become his wife makes no great turnaround from civilization to primitivism. Garfield speaks of a great cast wasted and for once he's right. 6/10
