This is mostly shot at night, it has a murder scheme so CJ would probably consider it a noir?  Of course, it isn't. Interesting the Garfield review:"Clean-up-the-town yarn has saloon songs added to stretch the weary plot. Rheumy. " There is actually a "song" in the movie and it is one sung in church by the congregation. And no saloon in sight, unless you wanna consider such a sorta male club.  The plot is not "weary", because there are not many westerns (conceding they make the genre) based on the reconstruction and carpetbaggers: probably Garfield misunderstood the  review on which he based his own. The plot is quite flimsy but it mildly interesting until it turns into the usual sham murder to trap the innocent. But Coleen Gray is beautiful. 6/10
