Not even a b production and not noir as it is all shot in daytime and exteriors. Which makes it interesting, at least for me. I've got the novel but I haven't managed to read it yet. Not that understanding better  the plot will make any difference. It's the landscapes and the cars and the roads and even the last kinda castle-villa which make it unique and (I'm almost afraid to say it) refreshing after watching so many studio shot movies of the kind. So I give it 6/10.
