Jill's Eyelashes

I was re-watching a Leone documentary with many interesting interviews and observations (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kjM5QwLviVg  no english subtitles, alas) and oddly paid attention for the first time at Cardinale's long, fake eyelashes. Now, even among prostitutes, fake eyelashes weren't common and, most of all, there wasn't an  easy way to make them stick (see here: https://www.lashlovers.com/blog/the-history-of-eyelash-extensions). In fact, if we watch pictures of Wild West prostitutes, not only of common girls, none of them sports them.  False eyelashes became common well into the XXth century.
