The guy is way out of line with regard to the CoR. It has points of interest because later memorable sequences in SL's oeuvre were first tried out here. The peeing on ants in DYS, for example, was prefigured in Rhodes (fire drops out of the colossus on escapees; the shot is filmed to make it seem its coming from between the statue's legs), as was Frank's final choreography in OUATITW. It's not just for completists: anyone who is interested in Leone's work and how it evolved should be interested in CoR.

OTOH, he makes a fabulous case for putting FAFDM in third place. Ultimately, though, he is not persuasive: the three films shot by Delli Colli must go highest. To deny this is to have no regard for cinematic lighting. Comparing FAFDM and DYS, I must again choose the better lit film (which also has better characters and a more interesting plot). So the correct order, top to bottom, is:

Colossus of Rhodes would be so much more enjoyable if its runtime was under 90 minutes. There's definitely some good stuff there, but it's way too long.

I don't know if I'd rank DYS over the first two Dollars movies, which are iconic. AFOD changed movies in many ways, and who knows what becomes of the Spaghetti subgenre if it wasn't such a hit -- and it's a great exploitation/lower budget genre movie. FAFDM can be seen as the first buddy action movie.

DYS is definitely the less influential movie Leone made (after CoR of course). It?s still a much s  II period movie to the first two dollar films imo but yeah, if you erase it from history not much would change, while I don?t know what movie history would be like without the dollar films.

Nice. I did notice something that I never noticed before when discussing OUTIA. He shows a clip of the scene just before Domenic gets it at DUMBO because of the way he edited it I noticed the high rise apartment building on the left that looks a bit too modern for the 1920s. BTW that apartment house is on the other side of the East River a half mile away. Normally your focus is on the kids if you watch the film.
