In the end scenes, Joe shoots the rifle, 4 bandits and the rope.....what does he then eject from the chamber before the reload.. a 7th bullet?
Not being a firearm chap can someone enlighten me?

Speaking of bullets, I rewatched the movie yesterday. During the party, Ramon shoots 9 times in a row at the cuirasse, 7 in the last duel. How many cartridges could actually be in a Winchester?

Ha... I think it was 15, but I'm not sure if an earlier version didn't have 16.

Off the top of my head, Henry's usually had 12 rounds Winchesters had 10 but the cartridge size varies the magazine's capacity

So he could not count  ;D ;D ;D
He should have had at least two or three more bullets...
That was an interesting kind of Winchester.

Unles he had been shooting before and forgot to re-load, of course... ::)

if we are talking about Ramon he is out of bullets, he ejects his last cartridge, aims, pulls the trigger and nothing, he's out.

I'm not a firearms guy, and i might be remembering the scene wrong, but.....

At the very last duel with Ramon, doesn't MWNN insert his one bullet and spin the cylinder?  What's the point of spinning the cylinder?  Wouldn't that essentially make it like Russian Roulette... Couldn't it have landed on one of his empty chambers?

Yea that wasn't the best thing to do. It was about style in that little sequence.

Clearly. We're meant to believe Joe is able to know that the bullet landed in the chamber.

Yeah, that's not possible.

I reject your statement.

Please stop talking.

But it did look badass.

...or he's able to go through all the chambers before Ramon shoots his first time.

Yeah, that's not possible.

No shit but Leone wasn't exactly going for realism was he?

Blondie knew it was in the chamber. He wouldn't play russian roulette.
