To put a spin on the classic BBC RADIO 4 show, DESERT ISLAND DISC'S.....You end up on an island and are given a choice.....You can have a DVD player n' TV (and electricity) AND the complete works of SERGIO LEONE! THE CATCH IS THIS.....You have to leave out ONE of his movies. THE QUESTION IS THIS.....which one would you leave out.....and WHY?    Huh

Sodome and Gomore, because I saw this movie and I don't like very much!!!!!!! Grin
But if you just speak for the westerns, it's FAFDM, because it's these I like the less!!!

But no, in fact, if you spaek for all his work, I'll put off one movie when he was just assistant... Smiley

I'll keep the list to:
FOD,
FDM,
GBU,
OUATITW,
DYS,
OUATIA.
Just to make the choice that little bit harder!  Wink

Gotta be DYS, its the only one of those that isnt a GREAT movie, merely a GOOD one, though i know im playing with fire saying that here.  Shocked

Btw, Desert Island Discs, legendary show.  Grin

I'd leave FoD, simply cos I enjoy it the least

Hmmm, Desert Island Flicks, it needs to be done.

ouatia.

i''m a clint, tuco, angel eyes, mortimer, kinda guy. especially tuco.

plus i think sequels we''re fun for leone. i have a feeling his health was going and it wasn''t a western.

big gap in time between duck, & ouatia.

didn''t we do this before ?

OUATITA.

After that would be FOD. (if you have ''Dollars More, no need for Fistful'')

But would rather leave those late 70s Renault Car Ads above all.  Grin

I'd ditch DYS from that list.  But it'd be Mary Ann over Ginger, for sure.

I'll say OUATIA.  I like the movie but not nearly as much as his westerns.

I'd ditch America, which is boring.  I'd also ditch FOD (poor movie but, as he said himself, he got better at it) and the Rod Steiger one with several titles.

Leone made three classics: Few, GBU and West.  I'd want those with me on a desert island and then I'd start looking up other directors like Ford, Stevens and Peckinpah.
