If we're talking about only movies from For A Fistful of Dollars, on, then that's the one I'd leave out, even if one considers My Name is Nobody as a Sergio Leone movie, which I do.

To me, in Fistful of Dollars Leone was only just beginning to bring all his greatness into play, so the film is much more limited, less interesting, and less artistic, powerful, etc., than his subsequent movies.  By comparison with subsquent films it lacks the incredible visual artistry at which Leone is unequalled, the careful attention to every detail, use of music, etc., even though these elements are evident in their nascent forms in Fistful of Dollars.  I recognize that the film was groundbreaking, the first, and hurt by its limited budget, but it's still the one I'd leave out.

A lot of people seem to ant to leave out Duck, You Sucker, but I think that is a great film.  It's one of Leone's most tragic (after Once...America) and it is also humourous, powerful, and artistic.

Ideally, I'd leave out something from Leone's time as assistant director or something like that.

OUATIA

It has its moments but lacks the coherent storyline (IMO)

Once Upon A Time in America.........because I'll never ever watch it again anyway.
Helluva movie...I've seen it more than once...but it makes me devastatingly sad.

Fistful of Dollars by FAR. FOD is more like a 7, whereas FAFDM is a 9, and the rest are all 10's.
