Hi, sorry if the title suggests otherwise and I know I''m just a newbie but I''ve been trying to find a a certain song for so long that I just had to post!

Below is a sound sample of me humming a tune I "think" is by Ennio Morricone ...

http://members.lycos.co.uk/dominion2000/tune001.mp3

A friend of mine told me that it "might" be from A Few Dollars more and just wondered if anyone here could help?

Thanks!

Bign2003 - so why didn''t you say at first to right click - who would I have known?  Anyway, it did work after I saved to hard drive.  To me, it also sounds very much like the title to "For a Few Dollars More", or at least has a lot of strong similarities.

Well Bign2003...I think it sounds like the Carol ...."We three kings from orient are"....but then again there is something else familiar about it. Will keep thinking

Late to this one. It reminds me of something from  Navajo Joe more than anything.. 'The Indian' track i think.

You should try posting it over at the Spaghetti Western Board as well.

Morricone is a modern day musical genius, up there with Mozart and all, IMHO.
The ticking watch lullaby is among his best.

I never knew Ennio was from Liverpool...
I don't get it! ::)
Ennio was born on november 10th 1928, in Rome, Italy.
Liverpool is not the only birthplace of musical geniuses, like JPGR, aka the Beatles.
