Hey guys,
maybe I arrived late, but (thanks to IMDB) I just discovered in a spanish web site a lot o pictures regarding Leone's filming locations for his westerns in Spain.
Unfortunately these pages are in Spanish but, being Italian they were quite understandable for me.
I post the links regarding the three parts:

http://www.zonadvd.com/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=423
http://www.zonadvd.com/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=426
http://www.zonadvd.com/modules.php?name=Sections&op=viewarticle&artid=430

Just a reminder:
FOD = POR UN PUNADO DE DOLARES
FDM = LA MUERTE TENIA UN PRECIO
GBU = EL BUENO, EL FEO Y EL MALO
OUATIW = HASTA QUE LLEGO SU HORA
DYS = AGACHATE MALDITO

 Cheesy

Thanks for the links.

Oh yeah.
I forgot that David Lean reproduced his Akbar City/Fortress in Almeria, Granada for Lawrence of Arabia .
Being a cheap alternative to Saudi or Egypt for materials/building.
The italian studios must of been taking notes.

With John Box's design and formanship they built the whole dame thing from scratch back in 1961,
for what really amounts to one dolly shot. left slow to right.
