I'm referring to the soundtrack. I bought my BLIND DEAD box for $60.00 from xploited. It's higher everywhere else though.

Those Winnetou films don't really look all that appealing.

I think "Hate Thy Neighbor" just might be Baldi's best. I find it much more re-wacthable than "Texas adios" or that snoozefest "The Forgotten pistolero" (Have to give this a proper 2nd viewing). And I think the plot holds up better (and the action is much more consistant)than "Blindman" or "Get Mean".

I made a mistake with Horst Frank who in fact starred in Winnetou:Last Of The Renegades  :-[

Blindman has to be the most original and best Baldi sw,followed by Viva Django,Forgotten Pistolero,Texas Adios and then Hate Thy Neighbour.
I only watched about 10 minutes of Get Mean which i absolutely hated and unfortunately Coming At Ya is unwatchable but this may be due to the wrong 3d glasses.
I'd be interested in catching either of the Carambola(Trinity rip offs) films and i'm sure Horst Frank is involved in one of these too.Not sure i'll ever try and get hold of Rita Of The West! :-\

I agree on Get Mean, Banjo.  I can't fathom the thinking on why Baldi/Anthony made that one.  Barely watchable as a SW!

I do love Forgotten Pistolero though - a particular favourite of mine.  It gets the 4 star treatment from me!

Ditto for FORGOTTEN PISTOLERO! And you shouldn't bother with RITA OF THE WEST unless you can find it free or a few dollars. It has "For domestic release only" written all over it. There are a couple of nice bits but not enough to recommend it. Even Terence Hill appears embarassed in his scenes as he doesn't participate in any singin' and dancin'.

But watchable as a trashy art flick.

I got through it but i found Silent Stranger barely watchable.I'm surprised at how much coverage the Stranger series gets because in all honesty the only decent one is the Stranger Returns.

The coverage might have something to do with the popularity the first two films got in the U.S.

I may be wrong, but I think The Silent Stranger is Tony Anthony's particular favourite.  It has its merits, but is nowhere near The Stranger Returns quality.  I much prefer it to Get Mean though.

Yeah he said it was the best film he had ever done but the studios cut a big chunk of it so when it was released ten years after it was finished it was "watered down to nothing".

I got HATE THY NEIGHBOR in a trade. Haven't watched it yet. The opening credits sequence is very creative. Banjo, you've viewed it already, right?

I'm a fan of it.
Give it about 10 minutes for it to really get going.
Lot's of fun action, kinky torture and a good fist fight.
Ending is an anti-climax but that can be forgiven.
