Inspired by a certain poster's 'Indio's Heroes' (the name would be a give away to one of the gang members  Wink ) Trivia normally involves the original poster knowing all the answers. Two are still unnamed to me. Actor or Charactor name.. But I thought this would be a interesting to open up to the forum.

I'll do what I can, as some of the guys are out of shot:

2) Is that Sancho?  I can't really tell.
3) I think that's Blackie (Frank Brana), judging by his sideburns. Wink
6) Is definitely Wild (Klaus Kinski).
7) Of course is Nino (Mario Brega).

Absolutely no idea.. You'd keep ya distance he looks like a bit of a tough guy. You wouldn't ask him to move over if he was blocking a fire exit.  Wink

Actually Groggy I was thinking Number 3 was you mate. Er I mean Groggy. Grin White shirt, tight curly haircut, very neat looking.. still not 100% thou. Hes pretty much out of view throu the whole of Manco's interception scene.

IMHO they are as follows :-

1. Frisco
2. Sancho
3. Groggy
4. Unknown
5. Chico
6. Wild
7.Nino
8. Unknown

Re possibility of 3 being Blackie, Blackie was sitting on floor somewhere from where he shot off end of Manco's cigar ( v painfull!)

Incidently, does anyone know the name of the Mexican shot with no.4 when Manco swivels round in his chair?
( He's the 3rd bandit without a name, unless they're ref to in book of film , DVD notes etc?)

I'm not sure Charlie. There are to Mexican bandits distinguishable by a black poncho and a dark green poncho. But No 4 is Frisco. look at number 1. for my thoughts.

This is my observation

1 Could be...  Bandit in dark poncho killed by Mortimer in the barn & runaway cart ambush with Huey. Or could be the Dark green poncho Bandit killed by Monco in chair swivel / costume decoy with Frisco.

2 Sancho Perez (Panos Papadopoulos) 'You see Sancho move over to the left side after the embrace with Indio. Silver short hair and a neck scarf'

3 Groggy (Luigi Pistilli)

4 Frisco (Antonio Molino Rojo)

5 Chico (José Canalejas) 'Indio actually looks at him when hes picking the team for Santa Cruz. Also identfied by his striped poncho at the morning campsite gundown

6 Wild The Hunchback (Klaus Kinski)

7 Nino (Mario Brega)

8 Unkown Mexican Bandit distinguishable by a Mustache.

Just for complete geekdom. (using the scene placement  in Few Dollars)  Grin
- Huey’s (Benito Stefanelli) shadow is cast on the back doors behind right of Blackie, leaning on a pole.
- Boot belongs to Cuchillo (Aldo Sambrell) left bottom edge of image next to No 1 Guy
- Paco is at the extreme left of Bandit No 8.
- Slim is sitting next to Bandit No 8 he actually moves for Indio to sit down in the scene.

Names i have left over from credits, No 1 & 8 could be one of these:
Román Ariznavarreta
Eduardo García ....  (uncredited)
Aldo Ricci ....  (uncredited)
José Terrón ....  (uncredited)
Enrique Santiago ....  (uncredited)
José Félix Montoya ....  (uncredited)
Rafael López Somoza ....  (uncredited)

Good job my life didn't depend on that scrap of info! LOL

There are three unknown bandits, including nos 1 & 8 in this scene.  These three were paired with Sancho, myself and Frisco when they were shot by the bounty hunters.

According to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/For_a_Few_Dollars_More#Cast, the gang members were:

Luigi Pistilli as Groggy, member of Indio's gang
Klaus Kinski as Juan Wild, the hunchback, member of Indio's gang
Benito Stefanelli as Hughie (aka Luke), member of Indio's gang
Mario Brega as Niño, member of Indio's gang
Aldo Sambrell as Cuchillo, member of Indio's gang
Antonio Molino Rojo as Frisco, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
Eduardo Garcia as unnamed member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
Enrique Santiago as Miguel, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
Frank Brana as Blackie, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
José Canalejas as Chico, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
Luis Rodríguez as Manuel, member of Indio's gang
Nazzareno Natale as Paco, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)
Panos Papadopulos as Sancho Pérez, member of Indio's gang
Werner Abrolat as Slim, member of Indio's gang (uncredited)

The interesting one is Eduardo Garcia, name of character unknown, who is among The Smoker's "names left over from credits" above.

I don't mean to burst your bubble or anything, although I've always seen it spelt as 'Hughie' and not 'Huey.' The subtitles (on mine anyways) for the movie also spelt it was 'Hughie.' Not that it matters all that much though, they can be spelt either way and are pronounced exactly the same.

Hey, whaddya know? Someone changed the spelling on Wikipedia to "Huey"!   Roll Eyes

I got another gripe an' that's with you, Groggy.  Save your bullets, hombre, an' leave my spurs alone.   In fact, Groggy, I figure you for an Arsenal fan?  Going around shooting Spurs up!    Cheesy
