I hope to get a lot of feedback on this one.

Could someone please explain the kitten scene in GBU with Angel Eyes and his men?

I understand the quote "every gun makes it's own tune" but what's with the kitten.

My guesses are:
-He is sybolizing the innocence in the war torn town
-It means nothing, just Mr. Leone's wife demanded he use her new kitty in famous world wide levels
-Shows what kind of man Clint is playing

help out if you can

Yes that may be true I don't know you know more than me,
but what does it mean or sybolize if anything?

I look at it as another slight softening of his character. eg: his comments on the battle of the bridge, giving the dying soldier his cigar- or maybe there was a stray moggy just passing by!!

I don't think the Kitten actually symbolizes anything - I guess it just means that in this bombed out, abandoned town, there just happened to be a lonely kitten!
