I'm not going to watch 100 Film Quotes tonight on TV (I'll watch NBA) but I'd be surprised if any Leone quotes make it (I'd bet you could do a whole "100 Leone Quotes" show).  I think Clint may make it for "dying's not much of a living, boy" or "Do you feel lucky, punk?" or "Go ahead, make my day".  Can someone who ses it report to the board?

AFI apparently is just for "American" films, so the Leone films don't qualify.

I agree. There should be 100 Leone but even that many would be difficult to fit in all the best lines.

Some of my favorites got on there, particularly:
"What we've got here is failure to communicate!"

So I'm happy.  Too bad "If they move, kill 'em!" didn't make it.  Angry Stupid f-ing "Casablanca".

"Play it again, Sam."

if the omitting of European films is true the Western queote I like is: "If he runs shoot him, if he runes with the money whoot him twice, if he runs with the water empty your gun."

or "you like to pull the trigger eh?" "I can do it again for you"

Beebs, what movie is the "water" quote from?  I've never heard that before, but it made me laugh when I read it.

Haha, Hombre.

Not so funny in their context. They're low on water and one guy wants to take some money and leave.

I realize I had some typos in there, too. Sorry.

Hey, Beebs.  Once I read your post, I remembered that scene in Hombre.  Great movie, especially that spaghetti-like showdown at the end.

Thanks for the reply.
