I've yet to hear of any Metallica fans on this board besides me.
I've been to three of their concerts (one in Madison Square Garden in New York City; two in Nassau Coliseum on Long Island); I didn't go to the Yankee Stadium show cuz it was not a typical show with Metallica headlining: it was called THE BIG FOUR with there other heavy metal legends: Anthrax, Slayer, and Megadeth) so when tickets went on sale, I wondered if they would do a normal set [ which is usually 2-2.5 hours] so I figured, I've been to 3 of their normal shows why do I need to go to a show with 3 bands I don't care about. I then forgot about it for a few months, till after the show was over. By that time I regretted not going. I don't know if they played a normal set but it doesn't matter, it would have been awesome to see the boys in Yankee Stadium.
Oh well, I'll see 'em next time they come 'round the Big Apple.
And on that note, I am still still hoping that Ennio Morricone will do a show around here too someday. Unfortunately, seems like he has been sticking to Italy lately.
(How about the 'Tallica boys and the Maestro co-headlining a show?

)
