Yes but is FAFDM now fully uncut and does it include Indios gun baptism scene?

The film contains now the beating scene and the dialogue missing from all other DVD releases.  Faf$sm is now close to 20 sec longer.  Also, the masters of both films have been cleaned and restored to a much more accurate level than ever before.  The films were cleaned shot fo shot with the most appropriate and best software; we made sure that no artifacts would remain.  Also, both films contain the fully (and painstakingly) restored English Mono soundtrack - now also completely in sync.  Cheesy

Oh - I almost forgot - the other, "christening scene" was often talked about, but as far as we know, it was never filmed.  Certainly none of the prints or negatives contained it; not even the Italian one.

Great news that FAFDM finally gets an uncut release on DVD! This is one of the reasons why I didn't buy the MGM SE, I still don't get how MGM could have overlooked those missing dialogs for the second time.  Roll Eyes

I'm very curious about the picture quality for FOD and FAFDM in comparison to the MGM versions, are there any screencaps available like those from My name is nobody?

Keep up the excellent work!

Why no italian soundtrack? A copyright matter?

Also, how long is this version of FOD?

@ Isildur:  yes, but it will take a bit longer, we have a lot of shots to choose from that were cleaned & restored. Be patient (even if it hurts  Grin)

@ titoli:
1.  yes
2.  127 Minutes  Faf$sm; 97 Minutes Fo$s

Titoli, if you absolutely have to have the Italian dub it is available on the Japanese (R2-NTSC) version of the special edition. It would indeed be nice to have everything together on one disc, but we do not yet live in such a perfect world........

Hi everyone.  Since I can't read German ...

Does anyone know, other than box covers, what the difference will be in packaging between the single 2 disc sets, the 4 (2 films) disc box, and the special edition with the watch and crate?  Will the 4 box set include the same or consolidated extras, i.e. booklets, mini-posters, etc.

Thanks.
