Looks to be quite a few pages of a one on one interview - but I don't speak or understand spanish!!!(i think it's in spanish)

http://www.monadas.net/andres_caicedo/leone/sleone2.htm

Can somebody who speaks the language give us the highlights of this interview?

ok translation time. though there is not much to translate. nothing of interest any way.
the article begins with the reporter in NEW ORLEANS as he "stumbles" on to the set of MY NAME IS NOBODY. he some how gets an interview with leone and ask him a series of questions with answers we already know.
for example "who influenced u?"(question to leone). everybody knows the answer is JOHN FORD. then leone goes into the whole thing that "john ford influenced me but we have many differences" shtick. then the reaporter gets into PECKINPAH on how he was influenced by leone, then leone corrects him and says that peckinpah had the ideas to do the style he wanted to do but that up until leone showed up that it was not possible to do them. then the reporter talks about the butchering of leones films in america. leone makes an amusing comment comparing the big american companies to itailian deli bucthers. "they cut it by the meter" he says.

overall nothing special. just an overly long interview with questions we have already heard and answers we already know.

Yeh you're right. Except the Peckinpah part I want to know more about. I love Peckinaph's work and I always compare his style to Leone's. I've always wondered what ol' Sam thought about Sergio.

Wow, the comments on Peckinpah are gold! Is there any way we can have a word-for-word translation of just that part? The issue of Peckinpah and his relation to Leone (especially in matters of influence) are highly contentious and arise frequently on this board.

ThanX you for the link. Very interesting interview (but I haven't read any other L.'s interview). BTW, he says that Nobody is totally Valeri's and confirms that Argento did nothing for OUTW.
